Standard Invector Choke Tubes. The original Browning removable choke tube system.
A major place in history. 12 gauge Standard Invector was one of the original removable choke tube designs. Standard Invector shotguns have conventional bore diameters and are not back-bored as many Browning shotguns are today. The original, shorter, flush fit tubes were supplied on large numbers of Browning shotguns. They still offer great performance for most hunting situations. Extended tubes, with more specialized patterning capabilities, are also available.
The original standard of excellence. 12 gauge Standard Invector™ flush fit choke tubes are available in constrictions ranging from Cylinder to X-Full. They produce excellent patterns with uniform densities. All Browning Standard Invector choke tubes are set to industry constriction standards. Flush fit tubes do not extend beyond the end of the barrel. (Except X-Full Trap and X-Full Turkey models.) Constructed of highly polished, 17-4 stainless steel for the ultimate in performance and durability. Standard Invector tubes are notched for a choke tube wrench.
On many shotguns, look for a barrel stamp that says “Invector” or “Standard Invector”.
Standard Invector tubes fit only Browning shotguns designed for Standard Invector and are not for use in shotguns showing Invector-Plus or Invector-DS on the barrel(s).
The Standard Invector interchangeable choke tube system offers consistent, dense shot patterns with the right constriction needed for the shooting situation.
Threads on the breech end of the choke tube help prevent gases from slipping between the choke tube and barrel that could damage the choke tube and the barrel.
