Better Quality, Same Price
The Axion XQ30 Pro thermal imaging monocular is the latest in Pulsar’s range of affordable devices, replacing its already popular predecessor, the Axion XM30F. Coming in at the same price point, the Axion XQ30 Pro may seem familiar, but its upgraded 384×288, 17µm, <25mK NETD thermal sensor offers more bang for your buck — effortlessly spotting even the smallest heat signature at a range of up to 850m.
Upgraded Thermal Sensor
The Axion XQ30 Pro features an upgraded pro-grade 384×288, 17µm, <25mK NETD thermal sensor and a powerful 20mm f1.2 objective lens, providing excellent detection capabilities. The sensor’s <25mK NETD rating offers low levels of noise, resulting in stunning image clarity and high contrast.
Three Sensitivity Amplification Levels
The Axion XQ30 Pro offers three sensitivity amplification levels with new filtration algorithms and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, providing improved rendering of an observed object and the environment around it, and increasing the user’s detection capabilities in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Wide Field of View
A generous 13.3° field of view makes searching and scanning much more convenient, revealing more within the observation area, and enabling faster detection of a heat source. This wide FOV enables close observation of an object of interest without losing control of the rest of the surrounding area.
Picture in Picture Mode
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode reveals a small viewing screen in the top 10% of the Axion XQ30 Pro’s display, allowing for closer inspection of an observed object without relinquishing any observational control over the area around it.
AMOLED Display
Featuring a high contrast 600×400 AMOLED display, the Axion XQ30 Pro presented all thermal imagery in exquisite detail, with a consistently sharp and smooth image and significantly improved colour rendering, even in frosty conditions.
Compact Ergonomic Design
Perhaps the most notable feature of the Axion XQ30 Pro is its ability to pack such a powerful punch from a device that is so incredibly compact and lightweight. Fitting effortlessly in the hand, this device is so lightweight as to be barely noticeable, remaining comfortable to hold over long periods of observation. Ergonomically designed, this monocular features a simple four-button control arrangement along the top of the device, with each button offering control of all the important digital functions, meaning the device can be controlled with very little hand movement.
But its size and weight are deceptive, the Axion XQ30 Pro remains incredibly robust, with a magnesium alloy bodyshell which takes on adverse weather conditions without breaking a sweat, all the while resisting the everyday bumps, knocks, and drops that occur during observations. It will even remain fully operational in a heavy downpour thanks to its IPX7 waterproof rating.
The magnesium alloy bodyshell even works as a heatsink, effectively dispersing any heat generated by the internal electronics, minimising noise, and keeping the device running as efficiently as possible during extended periods of use.
7 Hours Battery & Fast Charging
With a quick-change APS3 rechargeable battery, the Axion XQ30 Pro will provide up to 7 hours of effective observation (depending on temperature). Keeping the device going well into the night is as easy as removing and replacing the battery. Plus, with USB type-C fast charging available, the depleted battery will be back up to power and ready to use in next to no time. The provided battery can be charged using the Pulsar battery charger, household power, or via USB.
Eight Colour Palettes
A choice of 8 colour palettes lets the user observe their field of view more effectively, allowing them to optimise the device for specific tasks, as well as allowing them to react to changing observation conditions.
- White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection.
- Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase chances for recognition & identification.
- Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are most suitable for long observation in the night.
Built-In Still Image & Video Recorder
A built-in still image and video recording capabilities will capture every memorable moment during observations. Generous internal memory allows for hours upon hours of video storage and the ability to save tens of thousands of photos directly to the device. Just one touch is all it takes to capture a still image of an interesting scene or to start recording video on the move.
Stream Vision 2
Connect the device to Stream Vision 2 using an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including:
- The ability to use a mobile phone as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings. View all the changes made on a smartphone or tablet screen in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capture of still images.
- A gallery of photos and videos captured on the device that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily.
- The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure the device is always running to the best of its ability.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONTaking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.
Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.
Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.
Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
